NBA Draft Prospect - Brandon Knight

PG - 6,3 - Kentucky

Brandon Knight is entering the NBA after one very successful season at Kentucky.  He is a natural point guard and floor general with ideal size, speed and vision for the position.  He is also a gifted shooter with good confidence in his shot.

Pros

Knight has a high ceiling and good upside due to his youth, natural talent, basketball IQ and athletic ability.  He may not be John Wall fast but he pushes the ball very well and always has his head up looking to make a play.  Excellent three point shooter who hits clutch shots.  Can get into the lane and finish with floaters and a nice mid range fall away shot or set up teammates for easy buckets.  Plays well under pressure and is used to playing in prime time.  Good rebounder for a point guard.  Seems to have his head on straight, be a good leader and teammate.

Cons

A bit lite and needs to add some muscle but that will come with age.  Not an elite athlete but still has good quickness and decent explosiveness.
