NBA Draft Prospect - Marshon Brooks

Shooting Guard - 6,5 - Providence

High scoring 2 guard who can really fill it up with great range and accuracy on his jumper.  Scored 52 points in one game this year (see video below) and will likely have some big scoring nights in the pros. Will benefit if he gets to play with a solid post player to free him up on the perimeter.  Projected as a late first rounder and could jump up the draft boards with good workouts.

Pros

Brooks has a polished offensive game and is deadly accurate from three point land.  A top notch scorer who can take over a game with his jumper. Despite shooting a lot he has good shot selection and doesn't force the action.

He measured very well at the combine with very long arms to go with his 6,5 frame. He'll add strength over the next few years and should be able to defend NBA two guards well.  His long arms and good reflexes are disruptive on defense.

Cons

Lacks top level athleticism but has plenty of wiggle to get free for jumpers and create space in the lane.
