Malik Monk NBA Draft Scouting Report

6-4 - Shooting Guard - Kentucky

An elite scorer who can get buckets from anywhere on the court. Has become an exceptional shooter from 3 and is a great dunker.

A high level prospect with huge hops and awesome athletic ability. He's exceptionally quick, can really get off the floor and has exceptional body control. Plays above the rim and continues to get better, bigger and more ferocious with his dunks.

A deadly three point shooter who gets great elevation on his jumper and hits a good percentage from downtown. Has a really smooth shooting stroke and has shown great improvement from outside. Looks the part of a NBA level scorer.

Excels at getting into the lane and has advanced ball handling skills. Can push the ball in transition and is a skilled passer.

A clutch player who doesn't shy away from the big moments. Plays with confidence without being cocky.

Could be a #1 option on offense at the next level and has star potential.

Needs to develop as a floor general and learn to be a better coach on the floor. Can force his shot instead of making the simple pass and will have to play with better discipline.

Like most young players needs to continue to develop strength, consistency and intensity.

Doesn't have ideal size for the SG position (although he's got length and plenty of hops).

Projection: Top 6 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft
