Overview
A versatile combo forward who can do it all on the floor and excels in the transition game. Vanderbilt isn't a player who will blow you away with speed or leaping ability but he's a natural basketball talent who knows the game and plays the game at a high level.

Strengths
A complete player with a good motor and good physical tools. Smooth with the dribble and can really handle in the open court and make plays for teammates. He gets into the lane well and can score in a variety of ways or find the open man. He plays with his head up and is a talented passer with good decision making. Runs the floor well and plays with pace.

Is developing a nice perimeter game with range out to three. Shows a consistent form on his shot with decent mechanics.

A very tough defender who can lock up any position on the court. Has good length and enough lateral agility to be a disruptive defensive player and he always gives good effort.

A team first player who rebounds, defends, runs the court and passes the ball.

Weaknesses
Needs to get better and gain consistency as a jump shooter and continue to expand his range.

Isn't an elite run/jump athlete or high flyer.

Comparisons
Reminds of Thaddeus Young with a little Lamar Odom in his game.

Projection: lottery to mid first round pick in the 2018 or 2019 NBA Draft
