Blog: Pounding the Table for James Wisman
# Team Player Updated 3/23/20 Comp.
1 Warriors James Wiseman C - HT: 7-1 - WT: 247 - WING: 7-4 1/2 - FROM: USA
Wiseman is going to put on a show in pre-draft workouts and should be in the conversation for no.1 overall come draft night. True centers aren't valued as they used to be but Wiseman is much more than just a post player, showing some forward skills and the ability to step out and hit jumpers. Article
Anthony Davis lite
2 Cavs* Anthony Edwards SG - HT: 6-5 - WT: 215 - WING: 6-9 - FROM: Georgia - Fr.
Edwards had an up and down season, displaying tantalizing talent and elite scoring ability, but also inconsistency and average defensive effort. He's got an elite step-back jumper but doesn't get to the rim as much as he could/should.
bigger Oladipo
3 T-Wolves Obi Toppin PF - HT: 6-9 - WT: 220 - WING: NA - FROM: Dayton - So.
This draft has two or three stars at the top and then a bunch of exciting but flawed prospects. Obi is probably the safest of the second tier guys and benefits from a lack of PF/C talent at the top of this draft.
stronger Drew Gooden, Amar'e
4 Hawks Onyeka Okongwu PF - HT: 6-9 - WT: 220 - WING: NA - FROM: USC - Fr.
Onyeka is a physical specimen who is an overpowering force, even as a freshman. He's like a more offensively gifted Tristan Thompson who also blocks shots at a very high level. His switchability on defense gives him added value.
Bam Adebayo, Tristan Thompson+
5 Pistons PG - HT: 6-7 - WT: 180 - WING: NA - FROM: USA
LaMelo will not be playing again this year but he has likely solidified a high lottery selection. His defense remains a question mark and his shooting is erratic but his offensive play-making is special. Has some boom or bust potential.
6-7 Jason Williams
6 Knicks Deni Avdija SF - HT: 6-8 - WT: 210 - WING: NA - FROM: Israel - Int.01
Deni picked it up after a slow start and is back in the top 5 conversation. He's a creative offensive player who likes to get downhill and make plays off the dribble. If his 3pt shooting pans out he could be a star at the next level.
Doncic lite, Danny Granger
7 Bulls Isaac Okoro SF - HT: 6-6 - WT: 225 - WING: 6-9 - FROM: Auburn - Fr.
A standout defender and excellent athlete who is a game-changer with his energy and effort. Excels in transition.
faster Justin Anderson
8 Hornets Killian Hayes PG - HT: 6-5 - WT: 215 - WING: 6-7 - FROM: France - Int.01
A skilled combo guard with big time ability. Has speed in the open court and can really get to the rim. A creative passer. Struggles shooting from deep.
a creative Dante Exum
9 Wizards R.J. Hampton PG - HT: 6-5 - WT: 175 - WING: 6-7 - FROM: NZ Breakers - USA
Hampton has left the NBL and is back in the States for draft prep. He had a solid showing in 15 games for the Breakers. He didn't light the league on fire but he showed why he's a likely lottery pick in June. 1on1 interview
O.J. Mayo's upside, Jamal Murray
10 Suns Tyrese Haliburton PG - HT: 6-5 - WT: 170 - WING: 7-0 - FROM: Iowa St. - So.
Tyrese fractured his left wrist and is out for the season. His draft stock may take a small hit but he's already proven his worth and shouldn't fall too far.
better MCW, Dejounte
11 Spurs Patrick Williams SF - HT: 6-7 - WT: 215 - WING: NA - FROM: Florida State - Fr.
A versatile player who defends multiple positions, runs the floor well and is developing as a wing scorer. A plus athlete who plays with great balance and strength.
Kawhi lite
12 Kings Jahmi'us Ramsey SG - HT: 6-4 - WT: 195 - WING: NA - FROM: Texas Tech - Fr.
Has a nose for the ball and brings a lot of energy. Can play on or off the ball and is a warrior on the court.
Marcus Smart+
13 Pelicans Saddiq Bey SF - HT: 6-8 - WT: 216 - WING: NA - FROM: Villanova - So.
Excellent 3pt shooter with good length and strength. A 3&D prospect who is having a break-out sophomore season.
Khris Middleton
14 Blazers Precious Achiuwa SF - HT: 6-9 - WT: 223 - WING: 7-2 1/4 - FROM: Memphis (Mali) - Fr.
Has great physical tools but doesn't shoot the ball very well yet. Is at his best in transition or taking the ball to the hoop.
Antoine Walker
15 Magic PG - HT: 6-3 - WT: 185 - WING: 6-3 1/2 - FROM: UNC - Fr.
Cole is back on the court after dealing with a right knee injury (meniscus). He's had a tough season so far, struggling with his finishing at the rim and with turnovers.. He's no longer a lock for the top half of the lottery.
poor man's Derrick Rose

Derrick Coleman, Vin Baker
Bucks (from Pacers)
Zeke Nnaji C - HT: 6-11 - WT: 230 - WING: NA - FROM: Arizona - Fr.
Nnaji has elite mobility and a good scoring touch. He's got a quick first step and is able to blow by defenders with the dribble and outmaneuver for rebounds.
Taj Gibson

Aleksej Pokusevski
PF - HT: 7-0 - WT: 201 - WING: 7-3 - FROM: Serbia - Int01.

Raef LaFrentz, poor man's KP
Nuggets (from Rockets)
Jalen Smith PF - HT: 6-10 - WT: 215 - WING: 7-1 - FROM: Maryland - So.
Smith has been playing at a very well recently, hitting 3's and blocking shots at a high level. He's got tons of upside but needs to be more aggressive on the court. 1on1 interview
P.J. Brown +
76ers (from Thunder)
Aaron Nesmith SF - HT: 6-6 - WT: 213 - WING: 6-9 - FROM: Vanderbilt - So.
A foot injury will sideline Nesmith for the rest of the season. He finishes the year with averages of 23pts, 4.9rbs while shooting a ridiculous 52% from 3.
Alec Burks, Tony Snell
23 Heat Daniel Oturu C - HT: 6-10 - WT: 240 - WING: NA - FROM: Minnesota - So.
Oturu is having a big sophomore season, scoring the rock and a higher clip and continuing to rebound and block shots at a high level.
Jamaal Magloire+
24 Jazz Mamadi Diakite
PF - HT: 6-9 - WT: 228 - WING: NA - FROM: Virginia - Sr.
A glue guy power forward who does the dirty work. Has mobility, length and a fluid game. Is starting to hit the 3.
Harvey Grant
Thunder (from Nuggets)
Amar Sylla
PF - HT: 6-9 - WT: NA - WING: 7-2 - FROM: Senegal - Int01
Sylla is a super long forward with intriguing long-term upside. He has a chance to be a great defender and shows flashes of open court ball-handling and play-making ability.
Pascal Siakam 2.0
26 Celtics Jaden McDaniels SF - HT: 6-10 - WT: 180 - WING: 6-11 - FROM: Washington - Fr.
It's rare to see a 6-10 player move the way Jaden moves. He's quick, graceful and just loaded with talent but also thin in the lower body and not always demonstrating the best feel for the game.
DerMarr Johnson
27 Knicks (from Clippers) PG - HT: 6-3 - WT: 195 -WING: 6-5 1/2 - FROM: Kentucky - Fr.
A compact, score first combo guard who can light it up from downtown. Has fallen off a bit after a hot start and has struggled with consistency and efficiency.
Lou Williams
Josh Green SG - HT: 6-6 - WT: 201 - WING: 6-10 1/4 - FROM: Arizona (Australia) - Fr.
A talented 2-guard who is a great defender and open court athlete but is very inconsistent shooting the ball.
Josh Richardson
29 Lakers SG - HT: 6-6 - WT: 193 - WING: 6-6 - FROM: Duke
Stanley is a gifted athlete with a very bright basketball future. He's not the most creative in the half court but he's great in transition, has world class bounce and can hit the open 3pt shot.
Latrell Sprewell
30 Celtics (from Bucks Nico Mannion PG - HT: 6-3 - WT: 180 - WING: 6-2 1/2 - FROM: Arizona - Fr.
Nico is a unique talent with a quick first step, advanced decision making and great scoring ability. He's slowed down a bit after a quick start to the season and is moving down the board.
